Brandworks Technologies Private Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) to strengthen India’s AI and deeptech-driven electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
As part of the collaboration, a Centre of Excellence (CoE) will be established to support AI and deeptech startups, helping them transform ideas into market-ready products. The initiative aims to serve as a national innovation platform for startups working across artificial intelligence, advanced electronics, and smart manufacturing systems.
Brandworks will leverage its robust manufacturing and R&D capabilities—including over 320,000 sq. ft. of infrastructure, 55 assembly lines, and in-house SMT and PCBA facilities—to support startups with design, prototyping, and testing. This is expected to address key challenges in hardware product development and accelerate time-to-market.
Founder and CEO Ishwar Kumhar said the partnership is aimed at enabling Indian talent to rapidly convert ideas into scalable products, while positioning the country as a global leader in design-led electronics manufacturing.
Startups onboarded through the platform will gain access to advanced manufacturing infrastructure, R&D labs, product engineering support, and testing facilities, enabling them to move efficiently from concept to large-scale production.
The collaboration will also promote synergy between industry, academia, and government, driving research, innovation, and technology transfer. Overall, the initiative is seen as a significant step toward establishing India as a global hub for AI-native electronics and advanced manufacturing systems.
