Dextr AI raises USD 6.7 milliion led by Elevation Capital to scale its AI agent platform for hospitality globally.

Dextr AI, an AI agent platform for hospitality, founded by Sajid Shariff, alongside co-founder and CTO Scott Arnold, formerly of Meta has raised USD 6.7 million in a seed round led by Elevation Capital with participation from Foundation Capital. The company currently operates across properties in the US, Canada, UK and Europe, including franchised properties under the Hilton, Wyndham, Best Western and IHG flags and plans to expand into hospitality markets globally, including India.

Dextr’s platform lets hospitality employees control specialized AI agents across voice AI, guest management, back-office operations and sales and marketing. The company processes over a million interactions monthly and is among the few AI platforms that can take payments by voice, processing tens of millions of dollars through phone reservations each month on behalf of customers.

Alongside the funding, Dextr is unveiling Doss Gen 1, a command layer that lets employees direct the AI workforce in plain language via text or voice with role-based permissions and audit trails built for enterprise operators. The AI workforce includes Daisy, a voice AI reservation agent supporting over 90 languages; Alfred, a guest management agent handling upsells and service recovery; Manny a back-office agent managing rosters and staffing and Cosmo, a growth agent driving direct bookings.

The company’s deployments have delivered measurable results: a reservation contact centre generated USD 80,000 in incremental revenue within 60 days for a 49x ROI, a six-property hotel group eliminated 1,200 labour hours through AI-driven housekeeping optimization for an 8% EBITDA improvement and properties using Alfred raised their OTA ratings by an average of 0.4 points within 90 days. Dextr’s analysis of India-based contact centres found missed call rates of around 42%, driven by understaffing.

“Hospitality operators have a deep staffing shortage that leads to gaps in service, revenue leakage, broken guest experience and overworked staff. Our mission is to enable a fully agentic workforce that fills in the gaps and enable staff to focus their time where it really matters on guests” said Sajid Shariff, Founder and CEO, Dextr AI.
