Google for Startups and Antler India have launched a new programme aimed at supporting AI-led startups in India. The initiative, called Google for Startups Immersion, is a two-phase hybrid programme designed for founders, CTOs and technical leaders who already have live products and early traction.
Applications opened on May 8 and will close on May 22, 2026.
Google for Startups will lead the technical curriculum, while Antler India will oversee the venture and business track.
The initiative will run in two phases. The first phase, an online immersion, is scheduled for June 2, 4, 9, and 11. It is expected to bring together up to 5,000 founders across India through four virtual sessions. The technical track will cover tools such as AI Studio, Antigravity and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform with an emphasis on practical implementation.
The business track will focus on areas such as the investment landscape, unit economics and building defensible business models, helping founders align technology with sustainable growth.
The second phase, an offline immersion, will take place on June 26 at Google Ananta in Bengaluru. The top 25 startups from the online cohort will be selected through a joint evaluation process, followed by rapid interviews. A shortlist of 50 startups will be created before final selections.
Selected startups will participate in in-person sessions, including architecture discussions with Google Cloud engineers and one-on-one interactions on go-to-market strategy, pricing and fundraising. The programme is open only to startups with a live minimum viable product and verifiable traction with idea-stage ventures excluded.
