Curefoods-owned Krispy Kreme has strengthened its presence in India with the opening of a new outlet at CP67 Mall in Chandigarh, marking the iconic doughnut brand's debut in the city and reinforcing its expansion strategy across North India.

The launch represents another milestone in Krispy Kreme India's growth journey. With the addition of the Chandigarh store, the brand's offline network has expanded to 84 outlets nationwide, supported by over 160 consumer touchpoints, including cloud kitchens. Krispy Kreme currently operates across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Jaipur and Chandigarh with the latest opening signifying its first major expansion in North India outside the Delhi NCR region.

The newly launched outlet features Krispy Kreme's signature assortment of doughnuts, beverages and chocolate-based offerings. Tailored to meet evolving consumer tastes, especially among Gen Z audiences, the store has been designed to deliver an immersive and engaging customer experience that complements its diverse menu offerings.

“Launching in Chandigarh on World Doughnut Day makes this opening particularly special for us,” said Gokul Kandhi, Chief Business Officer, Curefoods. “This launch represents the next chapter of Krispy Kreme's growth in India. As we expand our footprint, we're focused on building a brand that feels relevant to Indian consumers, especially Gen Z, who are shaping food culture today. India has a deep love for chocolate and we're leaning into that insight by creating indulgent doughnut experiences that are fun, expressive and made for sharing. We're excited to bring that experience to Chandigarh.”

Krispy Kreme is advancing its India expansion strategy by placing greater emphasis on its chocolate-led portfolio, leveraging rising consumer interest in chocolate-inspired indulgences. Alongside product innovation, the brand continues to broaden its market presence through a mix of flagship outlets, varied retail formats and cloud kitchen operations.

Apart from the newly inaugurated store at CP67 Mall, Krispy Kreme has established its presence in the Chandigarh region through additional outlets at Dhillon Plaza and Karnal Haveli, further enhancing its accessibility to consumers.

Founded in 2020 by Ankit Nagori, Curefoods has built a diverse food and beverage portfolio that includes Krispy Kreme India, EatFit, CakeZone, Nomad Pizza, Sharief Bhai Biryani and Frozen Bottle. The company currently operates more than 450 cloud kitchens and offline stores across over 40 cities nationwide.
