Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, one of India’s fastest-growing mid-scale and premium hospitality brands, has announced the addition of two new properties to its portfolio: Lemon Tree Hotel, Surat Airport in Gujarat, and Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Haridwar in Uttarakhand.
The Surat property will be operated by Carnation Hotels Pvt. Ltd., the company’s wholly owned management subsidiary. Keys Prima in Haridwar, meanwhile, will come under Lemon Tree’s franchise portfolio. The new signings reinforce the group’s rapid expansion across western and northern India, targeting both corporate travellers and leisure guests with its value-driven hospitality offerings.
Situated near Surat International Airport, Lemon Tree Hotel, Surat Airport will cater to travellers visiting the city famed for its textile and diamond industries. Popularly known as the “Diamond City of India,” Surat continues to grow as a commercial centre with expanding retail districts, riverfront developments and new entertainment zones.
The upcoming hotel will offer 110 modern rooms, a restaurant, banquet and meeting spaces, recreational amenities including a swimming pool, spa and additional public areas. Its proximity to Surat International Airport—just 1.6 km away—makes it an accessible option for business travellers, while Surat Railway Station is a 30-minute drive from the site.
Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Haridwar, will be located in Shyampur near Rajaji National Park, offering guests a blend of spiritual proximity and natural surroundings. The hotel will serve both pilgrims visiting Haridwar’s famous ghats and tourists exploring the region’s forests and wildlife.
Key features will include 60 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a conference hall, a fitness centre, spa, swimming pool and other public areas. The property is about 49 km from Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport and 12 km from Haridwar Railway Station, with convenient road connectivity to major northern cities.
Commenting on the new signings, Mr. Vilas Pawar, CEO – Managed & Franchise Business, Lemon Tree Hotels, said, “These additions further strengthen our presence in Gujarat and Uttarakhand, two states that attract a diverse mix of business, spiritual and leisure travellers. From bustling commercial hubs to tranquil nature-led destinations, both regions offer significant opportunity for quality hospitality.” He noted that Gujarat currently hosts 10 operational and 19 upcoming Lemon Tree properties, while Uttarakhand has nine operational and nine upcoming hotels.
