Mahindra has inaugurated its first dealership-based ultrafast electric vehicle (EV) charging station. The 180 kW Charge_IN station is now operational at MGB Mobiles on NH-44 in Anantapur, marking a significant step in the company’s nationwide EV infrastructure expansion.
This installation marks the beginning of Mahindra’s broader rollout plan, aimed at creating a reliable ultrafast charging network across its dealership network in India. The initiative further strengthens Mahindra’s Charge_IN ecosystem, which already includes 250 highway fast-charging stations previously announced by the automaker.
The new ultrafast charging points are designed to provide EV users with rapid charging capabilities, reducing charging time and easing concerns related to accessibility and reliability. The stations will also offer round-the-clock on-ground support to enhance user confidence in EV adoption.
While Mahindra has not disclosed the total number of dealership locations planned for similar installations or the timeline for the nationwide rollout, the launch underscores the company’s commitment to investing in EV infrastructure and supporting the growth of electric mobility in India.
