Mekr Raises INR 67 Cr in Series A Led by Avaana Capital

New Delhi-based Mekr Technologies has raised INR 67 crore in a Series A funding round led by Avaana Capital, marking a significant step for the young manufacturing platform as it looks to scale operations and expand globally.

The round also saw participation from Titan Capital Winners Fund.

Founded in 2022 by Gaurang Kuchhal and Anand Yadav, Mekr operates as a full-stack design and manufacturing company for consumer electronics and appliances, offering end-to-end solutions from product concept to mass production.

The company said the fresh capital will be used to strengthen its R&D capabilities, invest in product engineering and build proprietary tooling. It also plans to focus on supplier localisation, expand manufacturing automation and enhance quality systems. These efforts are aimed at improving supply chain resilience and preparing the company for international market expansion.

Mekr provides a unified platform that integrates multiple stages of product development, including design, prototyping, sourcing, testing, certification and manufacturing. Its capabilities span PCB assembly, plastic moulding, metal processing, and component sourcing, allowing brands to streamline production through a single interface. The company operates as an original design manufacturer (ODM) across categories such as home and kitchen appliances, personal care products and automotive accessories.

Since its inception, Mekr claims to have developed more than 100 SKUs and partnered with over 40 brands, including Croma, Wipro, Amazon Basics, and Flipkart. It leverages shared core technologies such as BLDC motor systems, precision gear mechanisms and heating systems to deliver products designed for performance, durability and cost efficiency.
