Nikhil Sachdev, Co-Founder of PadelPark India, described the event as a turning point for the sport. “IPT Grandslam 8.0 marks a pivotal moment for Indian padel. With one of the largest court setups we’ve hosted, it truly brings a big-stage feel to the sport. Our partnership with Phoenix HSBC Racquet Club strengthens our vision to build a powerful platform for padel, spotlight homegrown talent, and accelerate the sport’s growth across the country,” he said.

The tournament comes on the heels of a dynamic month for padel nationwide, following competitive interclub matches in Mumbai and growing participation in Chandigarh’s city-level contests. It will be hosted at the Phoenix HSBC Racquet Club, India’s largest facility for padel and pickleball, featuring six padel courts and four pickleball courts designed to offer world-class playing conditions.
