Bhaskar’s expertise covers workforce planning, recruitment, compensation and benefits, statutory compliance, employee relations, training and development and improving diversity, equity, and inclusion outcomes through structured hiring practices, policy design and rewards and recognition frameworks.
In his current role, he is responsible for shaping people strategy, reinforcing organizational culture and ensuring HR initiatives remain closely aligned with business objectives.
Before this appointment Bhaskar served as Assistant Director of Human Resources at Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa. He began his hospitality career at Trident Chennai and later joined the Marriott group at JW Marriott Sahar, Mumbai. Over the course of his career, he has managed teams of more than 500 associates, worked on pre-opening projects and handled senior HR leadership responsibilities across both luxury hotels and corporate HR setups.
His professional journey includes involvement in several key pre-opening and task-force assignments such as Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa, Courtyard by Marriott Trichy, Courtyard by Marriott Shillong, Sheraton Colombo, JW Marriott Pune and Four Points by Sheraton. Bhaskar has also been nominated for the APEC Pre-Opening HR Leader Award in 2023 and 2024 for his role in developing scalable HR systems and building high-performing teams.

An alumnus of DG Vaishnav College, Chennai, Bhaskar holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Human Resources. He is known within the industry for his collaborative leadership approach, focus on compliance, and ability to create structured and inclusive work environments. In his new role, he is expected to support long-term growth plans while further strengthening the hotel’s position as an employer of choice.
