Celebrating India’s historic ICC Women’s World Cup triumph, Tata Motors has announced that each member of the winning team will receive the all-new Tata Sierra. The company will officially launch the iconic SUV on November 25.

Celebrating the Indian Women’s Cricket Team’s remarkable performance and historic ICC Women’s World Cup victory, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has announced that it will gift the first batch of the new Tata Sierra to every player of the team. Each member will receive the top-end model of the SUV as a token of appreciation for their determination, spirit, and contribution to the nation’s pride.

This gesture is a tribute to the team’s inspiring journey — a story of grit, passion, and perseverance that has touched millions of hearts across India. Just like the legendary Tata Sierra, making its iconic comeback, these champions too symbolize resilience and confidence.

Speaking on the occasion, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director and CEO, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., said,

“The Indian Women’s Cricket Team has made the entire nation proud with their exceptional performance. Their journey stands as a testament to determination and belief. We are honored to present these legends with another legend — the Tata Sierra. This truly represents ‘Two Legends, One Spirit, Infinite Inspiration.’”

The Tata Sierra is a bold, versatile, and timeless SUV that will be officially launched in its new avatar on November 25.

About the New Tata Sierra

A name that defined the 1990s Indian SUV era, the Tata Sierra is set to make a grand comeback with a modern design, powerful engines, and cutting-edge features.

The new Sierra blends classic charm with contemporary styling — featuring a sculpted bonnet, connected LED light bar, black-out grille with the bold ‘SIERRA’ badge, and a reimagined version of its signature wrap-around glass design.

Inside, the SUV offers a triple-screen setup with a digital instrument cluster, infotainment unit, and co-passenger display. It also includes advanced features like Level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and dual-zone climate control.

Under Tata’s multi-powertrain strategy, the Sierra will debut with 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine options, available with both manual and automatic transmissions. An all-electric variant is also planned for launch next year.

With its blend of legacy and innovation, the new Tata Sierra marks the legendary SUV’s return — ready to reclaim its place on Indian roads as a true icon reborn.
