Experiential travel platform WanderOn has secured INR 54 crore in a Series A funding round co-led by DSG Consumer Partners and CAAF.
The Gurugram-based startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand its destination portfolio, develop high-demand travel segments including adventure, sports-led, and wellness experiences, and invest in technology to enhance the traveller journey.
Founded in 2017 by Chirag Jain, Ravi Khokher, Madhusudan Jaju, and Govind Gaur, WanderOn offers curated group travel experiences for millennials and Gen Z, both in India and internationally. Its offerings include road trips, treks, and customised tours, with an emphasis on offbeat destinations, budget-friendly travel, and creating strong community engagement among travellers.
Operating on a direct-to-consumer model, WanderOn leverages digital storytelling, influencer collaborations, and organic marketing to attract adventure enthusiasts. Its revenue is generated through pre-booked travel packages, add-on experiences, and exclusive brand partnerships. The startup claims to have served over 1 lakh travellers across more than 40 domestic and international destinations, with repeat customers contributing significantly to its growth.
WanderOn has scaled to over INR 100 crore business on a bootstrapped model and has doubled its revenue year-on-year in the post-Covid period. The platform positions itself in the competitive experiential travel space alongside players such as Thrillophilia, TravelTriangle, Tripoto, and Holidify.
The Series A funding is expected to accelerate WanderOn’s growth trajectory by making travel experiences more immersive and accessible while strengthening its presence across high-interest travel categories in India.
