ShriKNC Nair has been intheIT profession for the last 3 decades,spearheading IT infusion andtechnology-driven innovations,mostly in the banking and financial sector domain.

Presently he is leading the e-transformation in the Muthoot Group having nearly a 5400branch network and 26000employees.Prior to this,he was the Chief Knowledge Officer in Enzen Technologies, Bangalore for 4 years heading its BFSI Consulting, Knowledgemanagement, software quality assurance& process excellence.

KNC was Head of IT atFederal Bank for over a decadeandhelped transformthe traditional bank into technology infused leader in the region. He was a trend setterin the deployment of rural ATMsstarting in Kerala in early 2000 which was followed by the peersto enhancecustomer convenience and reduce transactions cost.

He served the Reserve Bank of India(RBI)for 11 years in the areas of Financial Software systems development, Rural Credit Information Systems, Statistical Analysis, Securities Trading, etc.He was selected into theIndian Statistical Service (ISS)in 1980 and servedin a couple ofGovt. of India departments inNew Delhiin statistics and computer related areas for 4 years.

KNCstarted hislong careerin ITas a Systems Analyst in the BhabhaAtomic Research Centre, Bombay in 1978.

He is an M.Sc.(Statistics& Computer Science) from Kerala University and PGDiplomain Computer Management from the Bombay University. He is also a Certified Information SystemsAuditor(CISA) and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers, Bombay. KNChas also servedthe following committees as a member:

• RBI Working Group on Critical Infrastructure Protection
• RBI Working Group for Business Rules formulation for RTGS
• IBA Committee on Computerisation in the banking industry.
• Member of Board of Information Systems Audit & Control Association (ISACA), Cochin Chapter.
