Abhishek Gupta

Abhishek Gupta has 24+ years of experience as a founder, operator, and credit investor across India and Southeast Asia. He is currently a Partner at Trifecta Capital, where he has led marquee investments in companies including Moneyview, Bluestone, Stashfin, StockGro, FreshToHome, Refyne, SmartCoin, Branch, and BatterySmart. He also co-authored India’s first Venture Debt Report with BCG (2023). Prior to joining Trifecta Capital in 2022, Abhishek served as COO of Paytm’s lending business, where he played a key role in scaling the platform and contributing to the company’s IPO. Earlier, he held group leadership roles at Atome Financial (Singapore). In the early years of his career, Abhishek worked with a leading Silicon Valley–based firm on Electronics Design Automation (EDA) products. He is also an active angel investor and has backed high quality founders of early stage businesses with capital and strategic advice. He also serves as an Advisor to the Board of the HBS Club of India.
