Arjun Rao

Arjun Rao is a General Partner at Speciale Invest, bringing over two decades of experience across technology, entrepreneurship, and venture investing in India’s startup ecosystem. He focuses on identifying and supporting early-stage deep-tech startups with the potential to build category-defining businesses. Prior to investing, Arjun co-founded multiple startups, including Travelyaari, a pioneering travel technology platform that scaled successfully with venture backing. His earlier roles at Yahoo! and ibibo strengthened his expertise in internet and travel technology. Arjun holds a Bachelor of Engineering from NIT Karnataka and an MBA from the Indian School of Business.
