Ashish Gupta

Ashish Gupta brings over 29 years of global technology leadership experience. He established and currently leads Rubrik's highly recognized India R&D center, where he specializes in building effective, high-performing cross-geo engineering teams. Additionally, he advises multiple Lightspeed India portfolio companies. Previously, as an early VP of Engineering at Flipkart, he founded the Retail Technology group. His teams built core systems that helped drive the company's annual revenue from $50 million to $2 billion in just five years. An IIT Delhi alumnus with Cisco patents, Ashish has also spent nine years at Cisco and IBM in Silicon Valley.
