His proficiency encompasses sales and marketing, business scaling, and mentoring startups, having adeptly managed P&Ls exceeding $500 million in various countries within the Asia-Pacific region. His versatile expertise spans multiple sectors, including Fintech, Analytics, CPG, EdTech, eCommerce, and the Tech industry. Joy’s professional journey includes significant tenures in prestigious firms. Currently, he serves as the APAC Head at Scienaptic Systems since 2018, where he oversees the deployment of AI-based platforms for credit decisioning, facilitating banks and lending institutions in transitioning to automated AI-enabled credit underwriting.
Before Scienaptic Systems, Joy held a full-time role at XpertEase.in from 2015 to 2018, offering clients technology solutions, growth strategies, technology support, and mentorship. His tenure at Dell Technologies spanned over a decade, from 2005 to 2015. Notable positions included Global Product Marketing Head for PC Accessories & Electronics from 2012 to 2015, managing a $1.3Bn business covering audio, mice, keyboards, storage, networking, bags, and monitors. From 2009 to 2012, he was the General Manager for PC Accessories & Software (Asia Pacific & Japan), overseeing a $700Mn P&L. As Customer Services Director from 2005 to 2009, he led a 600-700 member contact center team providing technical support to Dell customers and ran a global PMO to improve customer satisfaction across 40 Dell customer service centers globally.
