Ranjith Menon is Partner and Managing Director at Chiratae Ventures. He focuses on early stage investments in the health-tech and online B2B domains. He looks forward to partnering with passionate founders who can leverage technology to address development gaps in India and potentially scale their ventures worldwide. He has been investing in technology startups in India since 2007. He has been part of several Chiratae portfolio companies such as Myntra (acquired by Flipkart), Fintellix (acquired by Verisk), Sourcebits (acquired by Globo-Plc) and AasaanJobs (acquired by Naspers). He is currently working with Uniphore, Redcliffe, ExMyB, and Mili, among others. He also serves on the Investment Committee of C-CAMPs Leap Fund, a BIRAC program. Prior to joining Chiratae Ventures, he spent a few years designing aircraft engines for Pratt & Whitney and did some aero-structural design work for Airbus. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University and an MBA from Great Lakes Institute of Management.
