Renuka Diwan

Dr. Renuka Diwan is the Co-founder and CEO of BioPrime AgriSolutions, an agritech startup dedicated to restoring both pride and profitability to farmers. Through advanced biotechnology and cutting-edge research in biologicals, the company develops sustainable solutions to help farmers address challenges such as crop loss, climate variability, and plant diseases.
Under her leadership, BioPrime AgriSolutions was recognized among the Global BioAgTech 10 Most Innovative Startups at the BioAg World Congress in Rio de Janeiro in 2024.
Dr. Diwan holds a PhD in Plant Sciences from the University of Pune and completed her postdoctoral research in genetic engineering in collaboration with the Australian biotechnology organization CAMBIA. With over 13 years of experience working on bioactives, she has contributed significantly to the development of novel biological inputs for agriculture and has filed a patent related to the large-scale production of a specific class of metabolites.
