Online bakery brand Bakingo has appointed industry veteran Naveen Madan as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO) marking a significant addition to its leadership team as the company sharpens its expansion strategy and focuses on elevating customer experience.
Madan brings more than three decades of experience across the food & beverage and retail sectors. Before joining Bakingo, he served as Vice President Retail at Haldiram Foods International Ltd, where he led large-scale retail growth initiatives and operational transformation. His career spans leadership roles at well-known consumer brands including OYO, Keventers, Costa Coffee India, Devyani International, Cinnabon India, Reliance Retail, Javagreen, Pizza Hut and ITC Hotels
In his new role, Madan will oversee Bakingo’s end-to-end business operations, drive strategic growth plans, enhance operational efficiency and strengthen the brand’s omnichannel presence. He will also focus on improving customer experience and supporting the company’s market expansion efforts.
Founded in 2016 by Shrey Sehgal, Suman Patra and Himanshu Chawla, Bakingo has grown into a prominent digital-first bakery brand catering to celebrations and occasions. The company currently operates in more than 50 cities, fulfilling around 20,000 orders every day and reaching close to 600,000 consumers monthly
The appointment of Madan comes as Bakingo continues to scale rapidly in India's competitive online bakery and gifting space, aiming to build a stronger national footprint supported by operational excellence and customer-centric offerings.
