BikeWo Appoints Sumanth Badiga to Advisory Board

Green mobility company BikeWo Green Tech Limited has appointed automotive industry veteran Sumanth Badiga to its Advisory Board. With more than three decades of experience in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry, Badiga’s appointment comes as BikeWo expands its presence across enterprise mobility and logistics.

Badiga currently serves as the Managing Director of Jasper Industries, part of the Jasper Automotive Group. He has extensive experience across commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, OEM relationships, vehicle distribution, after-sales operations and large-scale automotive businesses. He also serves as Chairman of Adithya Automotive Applications, where his experience includes truck applications, vehicle body solutions, trailers, tippers and specialised transportation requirements.

Badiga has also held senior leadership roles within the Tata Group’s automotive ecosystem, giving him a broad understanding of OEM operations, commercial vehicle markets and the evolving requirements of fleet and enterprise customers.

As a member of BikeWo’s Advisory Board, Badiga will advise the company on commercial vehicle strategy, fleet development, OEM and industry partnerships, vehicle procurement and deployment, along with enterprise customer relationships and specialised logistics applications. BikeWo is currently expanding its integrated mobility and logistics capabilities across last-mile, mid-mile and long-mile transportation.

Commenting on the appointment, Hiten Pal Saklani, CEO of BikeWo Green Tech, said that the company is moving beyond traditional last-mile mobility to build an integrated enterprise logistics and transportation platform. He added that Badiga’s three decades of experience across OEMs, vehicle distribution, fleet applications and the broader automotive value chain will provide valuable guidance as BikeWo strengthens its growth strategy and logistics operations.
