Paediatric behavioural health platform Butterfly Learnings has raised INR 65 crore in a Pre-Series B funding round led by Inflexor Ventures. Existing investors Insitor Partners and Enzia Ventures also participated.

Founded by Dr. Sonam Kothari and Dr. Abhishek Sen, Butterfly Learnings provides clinical therapy, diagnostics, digital therapeutics, inclusive education and technology-enabled interventions for neurodevelopmental conditions.

The company operates more than 90 centres across 22 cities. It also runs a therapist training institute accredited by the Behavioural Health Center of Excellence.

The fresh capital will be used to expand the centre network across India, strengthen its digital and AI capabilities and scale its Get SET Early autism screening solution through hospitals and paediatricians. The company also plans to expand its therapist training programme.

Get SET Early is an eye-tracking autism screening technology for which Butterfly Learnings holds an exclusive global licence. The solution has received CDSCO approval and can screen children from one year of age.

Dr. Sonam Kothari, CEO and Co-founder, Butterfly Learnings, said, “Butterfly was built to own that whole journey, with standardized protocols, rigorous clinical data and a platform that uses technology to deliver evidence-based outcomes for every child.”

Pratip Mazumdar, Partner, Inflexor Ventures, said the investment was made from its Fund III and cited the company’s clinical capabilities, execution and data generated through its platform as key factors behind the investment.
