Japanese watchmaker Casio has strengthened its retail presence in India with the launch of its first exclusive brand store in Chhattisgarh, marking its entry into the Raipur market.
Located at ZORA Mall, the new outlet spans 568 sq. ft. and is situated in a high-footfall commercial and residential area of the city. The store is aimed at Gen Z and millennial consumers, reflecting Casio’s focus on younger, style-conscious buyers in emerging urban centres.
With this launch, Casio’s total number of exclusive brand outlets in India has increased to 73, while its presence in East India has expanded to six stores.
The Raipur store showcases a broad portfolio of Casio timepieces, including popular G-SHOCK models from the 5000, 5600, 6900, 110 and 2100 series, as well as limited-edition collections and G-STEEL watches. It also features chronographs from the Edifice range, designs from the Casio Vintage line, and classic Casio watches.
Takuto Kimura, Managing Director of Casio India, said the Raipur launch is a key step in the company’s expansion strategy focused on emerging cities. He noted that the city’s evolving consumer base and rising demand for premium brands make it an important market, adding that the new store is designed to offer an immersive retail experience while highlighting Casio’s heritage of innovation and durability.
Casio India, a subsidiary of Casio Computer Co., Ltd., Japan, has been operating in the country since 1996 and markets timepieces, electronic musical instruments and calculators across the Indian market.
