Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Creatara Mobility has inaugurated its first manufacturing facility in Faridabad, Delhi-NCR. With the launch of the facility, the company has moved beyond the early research and development (R&D) stage and taken a step towards commercial manufacturing.
The Faridabad manufacturing facility has an annual production capacity of 30,000 units. According to the company, the plant will play a key role in scaling up production of its electric two-wheeler portfolio and supporting its expansion in the market.
The facility will manufacture the company's flagship electric two-wheelers, IN40 and VM4. Both models have been developed with the Indian market as well as export markets in mind.
Creatara Mobility Founder and CEO Vikas Gupta said the company journey began not with a factory, but with a vision. He said the company is now taking that vision to an industrial scale and moving towards expanding its business.
Co-founder Ringlarai Pamei said Creatara has been built with a focus on disciplined capital utilisation. She added that the company believes there is a significant opportunity in the market for businesses that combine ambition with capital discipline, and Creatara intends to build its growth around this approach.
