In a first-of-its-kind private–public transportation collaboration in the state, DTDC Express Limited has partnered with Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) to strengthen parcel delivery services across Himachal Pradesh, as shared by the company on social media.
The alliance aims to enhance last-mile connectivity, improve transit reliability, and accelerate deliveries across the region’s challenging hill terrain. By leveraging HRTC’s extensive road network and established connectivity in remote areas, DTDC will be able to streamline logistics operations across both urban and hard-to-reach locations.
The initiative is expected to significantly improve service efficiency from major hubs such as Shimla to remote towns including Reckong Peo, ensuring faster and more dependable parcel movement.
The partnership reflects DTDC’s broader strategy of collaborating with public infrastructure systems to strengthen delivery networks in geographically complex regions. It also underlines a shared commitment to supporting regional commerce, local communities, and economic development through improved logistics accessibility.
With this rollout, DTDC reinforces its focus on operational innovation while contributing to more integrated and inclusive logistics solutions across Himachal Pradesh.
