Lemon Tree Hotels’ Limited has announced the signing of a new hotel in Akola, Maharashtra, further strengthening its footprint in one of India’s most economically vibrant states. Following this development, the company’s portfolio in Maharashtra now stands at 28 properties, including 15 operational hotels and 13 in the pipeline, with this latest signing included.
The property will be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.
Located in the Vidarbha region, Akola serves as a prominent commercial and agricultural hub, particularly known for its cotton production and robust trading network. The city is experiencing consistent regional growth, driven by improving infrastructure and rising business activity, reinforcing its position as a significant economic centre in Central India.
Operating under the brand Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, the Akola property will feature 55 well-appointed rooms, complemented by a restaurant, banquet hall and conference facilities. Guests will also have access to leisure amenities such as a fitness centre, swimming pool and spa.
The hotel is situated around 265 km from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport and approximately 4.4 km from Akola Junction railway station, offering convenient connectivity for corporate travellers, trade visitors and regional transit demand.
