Hero MotoCorp, along with its electric mobility brand Vida, has unveiled the new ‘Vida Novus’ portfolio, marking a major step toward redefining sustainable, intelligent, and connected mobility. The company stated that the new range is designed to meet future mobility needs, suitable for both personal and urban commuting.
The new lineup includes three innovative vehicles — Nex 1, Nex 2, and Nex 3. The Nex 1 is a personal electric vehicle, while the Nex 2 is a self-balancing electric trike designed for urban mobility. The Nex 3, an all-weather personal EV, offers the safety and comfort of four wheels, making it ideal for both urban and rural travel.
Hero MotoCorp also revealed the Vida Ubex concept, which previews the brand’s first electric motorcycle. ‘Ubex’ stands for Urban Explorer and is designed for multi-terrain usage. Built on a modular platform, it comes equipped with advanced smart connectivity features. The company also showcased the Vida Project VxZ, developed in collaboration with Zero Motorcycles from the USA, during EICMA 2025.
Vida sales in India have been growing rapidly. In October 2025, the brand achieved its highest-ever monthly sales with 15,934 units, marking a 117% year-on-year growth. Between January and October 2025, Vida sold 86,084 units, setting the stage to cross the 100,000 annual e-scooter sales milestone for the first time since the brand’s inception.
From November 2022 to October 2025, Hero Vida has delivered a total of 141,117 e-scooters. The brand’s strong growth has been driven by two key models Vida V2, launched in December 2024, and Vida VX2, introduced in July 2025. With these launches, Hero MotoCorp has reinforced its ambition to lead the electric mobility transformation not only in India but also on the global stage.
