IHCL Marks Gateway’s 50-Hotel Milestone with Strategic Expansion in Hyderabad

Indian Hotels Company Limited, India’s largest hospitality company, has announced the signing of a new Gateway Hotels & Resorts property in Somajiguda, Hyderabad, taking the brand’s portfolio to the milestone of 50 hotels. The upcoming property will be developed as a conversion project.

This strength of the brand has enabled it to rapidly scale to a 50-hotel portfolio, capturing the growth in business and leisure markets across metros cities, state capitals and commercial centres. With the addition of Gateway Hyderabad, the brand debuts in the city and we are delighted to partner with Mr. D. Siva Rama Raju and Mr. DVS. Soma Raju for this project.”

Located in the heart of the city, Gateway Somajiguda, Hyderabad will feature 225 well-appointed rooms along with an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, and a lounge. The hotel’s recreational facilities will include a state-of-the-art gym, a health club, a swimming pool, and dedicated treatment rooms. It will also offer extensive event and conferencing infrastructure with 11 banquet halls, including the largest spanning approximately 10,000 sq. ft., complemented by multiple meeting rooms.Siva Rama Raju and DVS. Somajiguda is one of Hyderabad’s prominent commercial and residential hubs, known for its strong presence of corporate offices, retail establishments, and leading healthcare institutions.

With the addition of this hotel, Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) will have eight hotels in Telangana, including three currently under development.
