IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Hanu Overseas to launch its luxury lifestyle brand Vignette Collection in India, with the first hotel set to open in Panchkula in early 2026.

 

IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into a management agreement with Hanu Overseas to introduce its luxury and lifestyle brand, Vignette Collection, to India. The hotel is scheduled to open in Panchkula in early 2026, aligning with IHG’s strategy to accelerate growth within India’s high-potential luxury segment.

Vignette Collection comprises a portfolio of unique, independent hotels designed for guests seeking personalised and location-specific experiences. The brand allows owners to maintain their hotel’s distinctive identity while leveraging IHG’s operational expertise, global scale, and loyalty programme, IHG One Rewards. Vignette Collection properties are recognised for purposeful luxury and stays that connect with the local environment.

The Panchkula property will feature 145 rooms, including 11 suites, and offer four dining venues, comprising a signature restaurant, lobby lounge, and private dining space. Additional amenities include a swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, curated retail outlets, and ample parking. With over 2,200 square meters of meeting and event space, the hotel is positioned to cater to MICE and social celebrations, including weddings, leveraging the region’s strong business and leisure demand.

The signing reinforces IHG’s development strategy in the Chandigarh Metropolitan Region, complementing upcoming projects including Crowne Plaza Chandigarh Zirakpur and Holiday Inn and Suites Chandigarh Zirakpur. Currently, IHG operates 51 hotels across six brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort, and Holiday Inn Express, with a pipeline of 80 hotels scheduled to open over the next three to five years.
