KICO, a lifestyle-driven space opens in Bengaluru that blurs the lines between café and bar. Designed as a modern living room, KICO flows effortlessly from coffee-led mornings to cocktail-fuelled evenings, evolving with the people who gather there.
Part of the Yazu Hospitality Group, KICO is built on a simple philosophy: The Community Is You. More than a place to eat or drink, it brings together music, art, fashion, and shared meals—creating a participatory space where culture and connection come first.
Designed by Sumessh Menon, Founder of Sumessh Menon Associates, the interiors strike a warm, tactile balance with earthy gradient brick walls, matte black detailing, sheer curtains, and bespoke seating by 212 Studio. The bar, highlighted by leather-encased chandeliers from Ledomatics and graffiti-style artwork by ZA Art, adds an urban edge, while the green-lined outdoor enclosure offers a relaxed city escape.
The food menu centres on community dining, balancing light, and nourishing plates with indulgent, shareable comfort food. From inventive all-day breakfast favourites to globally inspired dishes—robata grills, Southeast Asian bowls, and regional Indian flavours—the focus remains on approachable food that brings people together.
KICO’s beverage program treats mornings and nights with equal intent. In collaboration with Nandan Coffee, the coffee menu spans classic espresso brews and slower pours, while matcha-forward beverages anchor a wellness-led offering. The cocktail menu is mood-driven, moving from low-ABV, easy sips to bold, spirit-forward drinks as the evening unfolds.
“KICO’s differentiator isn’t just what it serves, but how it functions as a cultural space. Music programming, merchandise drops, is embedded into the brand’s DNA. We’re positioning KICO as a cultural hangout rather than a transactional dining spot,” says Ranbir Nagpal, Founder, Yazu Hospitality.
Extending beyond dining, KICO features curated streetwear drops in collaboration with Noise Culture, alongside regular music programming and rotating art collaborations. Together, these elements position KICO as a new-age social hub—easy, expressive, and shaped by its community.
