Komaki Electric has launched its new MX16 Pro electric cruiser motorcycle in India, positioned as an affordable option in the premium electric two-wheeler segment. Priced at ₹1,69,999, the bike features a reinforced metal body, a 5 kW BLDC hub motor, and a 4.5 kWh battery pack that delivers a range of 160–220 km and a top speed of 80 kmph.
According to the company, the MX16 Pro costs only ₹15–20 to travel 200 km, compared to nearly ₹700 on a petrol-powered motorcycle—making it almost five times more economical to run.
The cruiser comes equipped with advanced features such as triple disc brakes, adjustable suspension, a full-color TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, reverse assist, regenerative braking, and park assist. It is offered in two color options dual-tone and jet black featuring a stretched frame and wide seating for a cruiser-style design.
Komaki Electric has recorded an impressive 1200% growth since May 2020, achieving a turnover of ₹301 crore by March 2022, entirely through organic expansion without government subsidies, bank loans, or external funding. The company now has a network of over 1,000 dealers and more than 200,000 customers across India.
Komaki product lineup includes electric scooters, cruiser bikes, and commercial e-scooters such as the Ranger, M16, SE high-range scooter, MG Pro family scooter, and CAT series delivery scooters. The company has completed over 100,000 lithium battery installations, providing power solutions for EVs, solar systems, and industrial applications.
With the launch of the MX16 Pro, Komaki aims to further strengthen its presence in the growing Indian electric vehicle market.
