Automobili Lamborghini India has commenced deliveries of its latest super sports car, the Temerario, marking the arrival of the brand's second plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) in the country. The new model succeeds the popular Huracan and represents a significant step in Lamborghini's electrification journey. The vehicle was first showcased in the Indian market in April 2025.
At the heart of the Temerario is a newly developed 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine paired with three electric motors. The advanced hybrid powertrain delivers a combined output of 920 PS, enabling the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of over 340 km/h.
The vehicle features an electronic all-wheel-drive (e-AWD) system along with advanced electric torque vectoring technology, ensuring enhanced handling and performance. Lamborghini has equipped the Temerario with 13 driving modes, including traditional performance settings such as Strada, Sport and Corsa, as well as dedicated hybrid modes for battery recharging, efficiency-focused driving and maximum power deployment.
Francesco Scardaoni, Region Director for Asia Pacific at Automobili Lamborghini, said the first customer delivery marks an important milestone in strengthening the brand's presence in India's rapidly expanding luxury automobile market. He added that the Temerario combines cutting-edge performance, innovation and electrification technologies.
With the launch and deliveries of the Temerario, Lamborghini continues to advance its electrification strategy in India while ushering in a new era of high-performance hybrid supercars for the country's luxury automotive segment.
