Minimalist Hotels has announced the launch of its latest lifestyle property in Varanasi, marking the brand’s third hotel in the city. The 22-key property has been thoughtfully designed to blend contemporary minimalism with the cultural essence of Varanasi, catering to the evolving preferences of modern travellers.
The hotel features design-focused rooms characterised by clean architectural lines, neutral colour palettes, and locally inspired textures that reflect the city’s rich heritage. Tailored for digital nomads, culture enthusiasts, business travellers and weekend visitors, the property offers high-speed Wi-Fi, dedicated workspaces, pet-friendly accommodation, complimentary breakfast and a range of modern in-room amenities.
A key highlight of the property is CABAMI, a rooftop restaurant and bar envisioned as an all-day dining and social hub. The venue features a globally inspired menu that brings together Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese and Pan-Asian cuisines, complemented by subtle Indian influences. The rooftop space is also designed to host community events and live music evenings.
Guests staying at the property can further immerse themselves in curated cultural experiences, including heritage walks, Banarasi silk weaving tours, sunrise and sunset boat rides, guided Ganga Aarti viewings, and excursions to Sarnath.
Commenting on the launch, Gautam Munjal, Founder, Minimalist Hotels, said, “With Varanasi, we wanted to create a space that respects the city’s heritage while offering a fresh, modern stay experience. Minimalist Hotels is about community, culture and curated living and this launch reflects that evolution.”
