Nua, a digital-first, omni-channel women’s wellness brand, has raised USD 50 million in a Series C round led by Peak XV and Filter Capital, with participation from existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures. The round includes a primary raise and secondaries offering partial exits to Kae Capital, Lightbox VC and existing angel investors.
The capital will support brand building, expand reach and distribution, and strengthening R&D to build an innovation pipeline across women’s wellness. Founded in 2017, Nua serves over 3 million women and girls every month across period care, maternity care and intimate care, and has recently launched digital offerings including the Nua Period Tracker App and SecretKeeper chat.
“We have scaled our annualised revenue run rate from Rs 100 crore to Rs 500 crore in just 24 months, while remaining profitable,” said Ravi Ramachandran, Founder & CEO, Nua.
“Nua has emerged as the fastest-growing brand in the category and the second-largest player online, demonstrating its ability to compete and win alongside much larger incumbents,” said Sakshi Chopra, Managing Director, Peak XV.
Nua is backed by Peak XV Partners, Lightbox, Filter Capital, Kae Capital, Mirabilis Investment Trust, Footpath Ventures and other investors.
