Nutanix Acquires Ryax to Power Agentic AI

Nutanix has acquired Ryax Technologies, an AI-driven compute orchestration and management platform company based in France. The acquisition supports Nutanix’s strategy of helping enterprises build, run and govern agentic AI, with plans to integrate Ryax’s GPU utilization and smart scheduling capabilities into Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) and Nutanix Enterprise AI (NAI). The financial impact of the deal is not material to Nutanix.

Ryax’s platform addresses two capabilities: Intelligent Resource Optimization, which improves the use of GPUs and CPUs to reduce waste and AI-Aware Smart Scheduling, which automatically places AI workloads on cost-effective hardware.

The technology aims to help enterprises move AI projects from experimentation to production faster amid GPU shortages and fragmented infrastructure spread across private data centers, hyperscalers and neoclouds.

The Ryax team will join Nutanix in France and continue developing the technology as part of future NKP and NAI releases.
