Prosus’ India unit which includes payments and fintech business division PayU and portfolio companies reported a 13% YoY growth to USD 781 million In FY26. It also reported an adjusted EBITDA (aEBITDA) profit for the first time at USD 18 million. “Our Indian ecosystem is evolving through better execution and acquisitions of high-potential

businesses with new investments in Rapido and ixigo. PayU is increasingly connected across this ecosystem, adding new partnerships and driving measurable cross-platform synergies,” Prosus, which backs startups like Swiggy, Meesho, Rapido and ixigo, said in a statement.

Prosus said it processed USD 90 billion of TPV (total payment value), with payments revenue soaring 10% to USD 577 million.

Fabricio Bloisi, CEO of Prosus, said: “At Prosus we are building something fundamentally different, an AI-powered Lifestyle Ecosystem that gets smarter and stronger with every interaction. Prosus recently launched ToqanClaw, a platform that lets anyone create apps, dashboards and automations just by describing what they need. The consumer-internet investor in its filings reveals its agentic platform is now available to over 5 million partners globally.

Overall, Prosus’ profitability jumped 84% with strong performance in operating regions such as Latin America and Europe.
