Pre-owned car platform Spinny has partnered with Nissan, JSW MG Motor India and Tesla across vehicle exchange, pre-owned cars and electric vehicle-related services. The partnerships are aimed at supporting customers across different stages of vehicle ownership, including buying, selling, exchanging and upgrading vehicles.
Under the partnership with Nissan, customers purchasing a new Nissan vehicle can have their existing vehicle evaluated and exchanged through Spinny. The 55-minute vehicle exchange programme offers benefits of up to ₹75,000. A Buying Letter issued by Spinny will also be accepted as proof of vehicle exchange.
Meanwhile, Tesla has appointed Spinny as a Preferred Exchange Partner under its ‘Switch and Save’ programme. Through the arrangement, customers can sell their existing internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle through Spinny when upgrading to a new Tesla. The programme also covers models such as the Tesla Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive.
Spinny has also expanded its capabilities in the pre-owned EV segment through its partnership with JSW MG Motor India. The collaboration combines JSW MG Motor India’s electric mobility expertise with Spinny’s capabilities in vehicle evaluation, certification, refurbishment and retail. The initiative covers the MG Comet EV, MG Windsor EV and MG ZS EV.
According to Spinny, customers purchasing certified pre-owned MG EVs through its platform will receive battery health assessment and certification, continuity of OEM warranty and fixed pricing. Spinny’s pre-owned vehicle process includes a 200-point inspection, Integrated Restoration Centres and warranties of up to three years.
The company is also offering battery health assessment and certification for EV owners selling their vehicles. The initiative is available across Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh and Coimbatore.
Spinny said the partnerships will strengthen its capabilities in EV diagnostics, battery health assessment, refurbishment and restoration. The company currently operates across more than 80 cities with 57+ Car Hubs, 17 Spinny Parks and 15+ Integrated Restoration Centres.
Through these partnerships, Spinny aims to connect different stages of vehicle ownership on a single platform. The company said its collaborations with Nissan, JSW MG Motor India and Tesla will help build a broader ecosystem covering vehicle buying, selling, exchange, upgrades and post-sales ownership support.
