Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ultraviolette has launched a structured riding academy in India, bringing its existing Track Attack and Into the Wild programmes under a single platform. The academy will offer riders dedicated track and off-road training on both electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycles.
The programmes are open to all motorcycle riders, and participants do not need to own an Ultraviolette motorcycle to enrol. The company will provide training and certification, although ICE motorcycles will not be provided to participants.
Both Track Attack and Into the Wild follow a three-level certification structure. Riders will have to complete an assessment before progressing to the next level. The training will combine classroom sessions with practical sessions at controlled racetracks and off-road locations.
Level 1 will focus on basic riding techniques, motorcycle control and safety. Level 2 will introduce advanced technical skills, while Level 3 will focus on high-intensity riding and advanced techniques suited to track or off-road environments.
The Track Attack programme is designed to improve riders’ performance riding skills on racetracks. The curriculum will cover racing lines, braking points, corner entry and exit, throttle control and body positioning.
Riders will also learn track positioning, overtaking awareness, circuit awareness and acceleration techniques. Safety training will include track etiquette, flag protocols, protective equipment and pre-ride motorcycle checks.
The Into the Wild programme is designed for riding on loose and uneven terrain. It will cover body positioning, balance, throttle and brake control, off-road cornering and terrain assessment.
The course will also include obstacle navigation, motorcycle recovery and responsible trail riding. The focus will be on improving riders’ motorcycle control and decision-making abilities in off-road conditions.
According to Ultraviolette, the academy programmes will be conducted throughout the year across various racetracks and off-road locations in India. The first Level 1 Into the Wild session was scheduled for August 23, 2026, in Bengaluru, followed by a Track Attack session on September 27, 2026.
The company said the academy is designed to progressively develop riders’ motorcycle control, technical skills, safety awareness and riding judgement, rather than being a one-time riding experience.
Ultraviolette claims that with this initiative, it has become the world’s first electric two-wheeler manufacturer to establish a structured riding academy offering both track and off-road training and certification.
