Euler inaugurates 4W manufacturing line at Palwal
Euler Motors expands its Palwal facility to scale production of Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV amid rising demand for electric commercial vehicles.

Euler Motors announced the expansion of its manufacturing footprint in Palwal, Haryana by establishing a news facility inaugurated by Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman, Hero MotoCorp in the presence of Euler Motors’ leadership team. The facility is dedicated to manufacturing of its four-wheeler (4W) portfolio.

The facility will manufacture the Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV. It includes an automated 4W assembly conveyor line, dedicated assembly lines, a body shop and an integrated battery pack assembly line. The facility will operate in two shifts, supported by a third hybrid shift.

The facility has testing integrated across the manufacturing process. Key systems, including suspension frames, drivetrain and steering, undergo testing for early fault detection. Battery packs are tested for thermal cycling, thermal shock, water wading, drop, vibration, mechanical shock and abuse under real-world load conditions. Electrical, mechanical and thermal systems are also validated before vehicles are delivered.

The vehicles are built on a localised supply chain and are designed and engineered for India.

Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO, Euler Motors, said the company’s four-wheeler vehicles have helped increase EV penetration in the segment from around 1% to 5.8%, with Euler holding around 28% market share. “We expanded from selling ~40 four-wheeler vehicles a month last year in April to roughly ~800 four-wheeler vehicles a month this year in June,” he said.

The Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV are aimed at the four-wheeler light commercial vehicle segment, which has traditionally been dominated by internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. Euler said the Turbo EV 1000 is a one-tonne electric truck, while the Storm EV is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The Storm EV includes features such as collision alerts and night vision assistance. Euler said the Turbo EV 1000 has contributed to the rise in EV penetration in the one-tonne 4W segment from around 1% to 5.8% within 10 months of its launch.

Gaurav Kumar, Head – Supply Chain & Manufacturing, Euler Motors, said the company has brought key vehicle components, including the chassis, axles and battery pack, in-house and conducts testing under real-world operating conditions.

The expansion will increase Euler Motors’ four-wheeler production capacity and create skilled employment opportunities in the region. The company’s vehicles are designed and manufactured in India.
