Mahindra Crosses 4 Lakh Cumulative EV Sales
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility becomes the first commercial vehicle manufacturer in India to cross 4 lakh cumulative electric vehicle sales.

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has crossed the 4 lakh cumulative electric vehicle sales milestone, becoming the first commercial vehicle manufacturer in India to achieve the feat, according to the company.

The company said its electric vehicles have collectively covered more than 9 billion kilometres across passenger and cargo last-mile applications. This has helped avoid approximately 1.85 lakh tonnes of CO₂ emissions, according to MLMML.

A subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra, MLMML has been India’s No. 1 electric commercial vehicle manufacturer for four consecutive financial years, as claimed by the company. Its electric portfolio includes the Treo range, UDO, Zor Grand, e-Alfa and ZEO.

According to the company, the adoption of its electric commercial vehicles has been supported by their operating economics and their ability to help customers with daily earnings and business operations. MLMML has also invested in products, partnerships, financing and customer support to expand electric mobility in the last-mile segment.

MLMML has set a target of having 1 million electric vehicles on Indian roads by 2031. The company plans to focus on improving its products, strengthening the EV ecosystem and making electric mobility more accessible to last-mile customers.

Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, said the milestone represents more than just a sales number, adding that the company has helped power the livelihoods of 4 lakh customers every day. She said MLMML will continue to strengthen its products and the wider EV ecosystem while making electric mobility more accessible to last-mile users.
