Kia India dealer partner Incheon Kia has delivered 150 units of the Kia Syros EV in a single day in Kochi, setting a national record for the highest number of electric vehicles of a single model delivered by a dealership in one day.
The deliveries took place on August 17 during a large-scale delivery event held to mark the Malayalam New Year. It was the first batch of Syros EV deliveries by Incheon Kia, and the achievement was certified by the India Book of Records.
Following the delivery ceremony, senior Kia India executives individually flagged off the vehicles handed over to customers. Gwanggu Lee, Managing Director and CEO, Kia India, also attended the event.
According to Incheon Kia, the dealership has received more than 650 bookings for the Syros EV in Kochi. The first 150 vehicles have now been delivered, indicating strong initial demand for the electric model in the Kochi market.
Incheon Kia, which began operations around seven years ago, is approaching 50,000 cumulative vehicle sales. The dealership expects to sell around 10,000 vehicles in 2026.
The record delivery comes as Kia India continues to expand its electric vehicle portfolio and focus on increasing Syros EV sales through its dealer network across India.
