Mumbai-based fashion brand Theater has raised INR 75 crore in a Series A funding round led by Niveshaay at a post-money valuation of INR 410 crore.

The round also saw participation from new investor Physis Capital and existing investor Prath Ventures. The company had previously raised USD 1.5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Prath Ventures in September 2024.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Theater’s offline presence across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. The company plans to establish physical retail stores as part of the expansion.

Founded in 2021 by Sarthak Aggarwal, Vikram Jain, Karan Jain and Shruti Aggarwal, Theater sells footwear, stockings, perfumes and bags.

The company operates in the mass-premium western fashion segment and sells through its existing channels. It said its business has grown eightfold over the past two years.

Theater also plans to increase its retail and marketing activities as it expands its physical presence.
