The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors to set up 5,000 new public charging stations in major cities across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, West Bengal, Bihar, and Maharashtra.
Rajeev YSR, CEO of Thunderplus, said,“We are proud to collaborate with Tata Motors to drive the adoption of small commercial electric vehicles across India. This partnership marks a significant step toward building a robust and accessible charging ecosystem for cleaner mobility.”
The new charging stations will be located at key logistics hubs to enhance operational efficiency and unlock greater earning potential for fleet operators. Equipped with fast-charging technology and integrated digital solutions, these facilities aim to make charging seamless, accessible, and scalable for commercial fleets.
