Quick-commerce platform Zepto on Tuesday rolled out the inaugural cohort of its startup innovation programme, Zepto Nova, selecting eight early-stage Indian companies as part of the initiative backed by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
The programme is designed to help emerging startups scale by providing access to Zepto’s hyperlocal commerce network, including support in market reach, product discoverability, and logistics.
The first batch features startups operating across segments such as food and beverages, sustainable energy solutions, and consumer-focused brands. The selected companies are Milleto Nutto, Aloe Ecell, Flavours of Calicut, Thy Chocolate, No Cap Foods, Nesta Toys, Watch Out, and Makerverse.
Commenting on the initiative, Vinay Dhanani, President – Supply Chain and Category at Zepto, said the company aims to play a catalytic role in strengthening India’s startup ecosystem by lowering entry barriers for homegrown brands and accelerating their path to market.
Zepto said it plans to roll out the second cohort of the Nova programme in February 2026, expanding opportunities for more startups to leverage its quick-commerce infrastructure.
