Currently, he splits his time as a content creator (where he engages a community of over 13 million followers across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook); an entrepreneur, running his education startup WebVeda.com; and as a mentor/investor to startups.
He is also a 3-times bestselling author. His books Do Epic Shit (2021), Get Epic Shit Done (2022) and Make Epic Money (2024) have cumulatively sold over 1 million copies across 63 countries and 16 languages. Previously, Ankur founded nearbuy.com, India’s largest local commerce app. He was its CEO from its inception in 2015 until 2019. Prior to that, Ankur was the founding CEO of Groupon’s India from 2011-15, and head of Groupon APAC from 2013-15.
