Actor-producer Anushka Sharma has acquired a minority stake in sports footwear and apparel company Agilitas Sports, joining her husband and cricketer Virat Kohli as an investor in the firm, as per ET reports.
Agilitas was founded by former Puma India executives and focuses on building sportswear brands.
As part of the association, Sharma will also work on developing a yoga-wear category under One8, the sportswear brand linked to Kohli. Confirming the development, co-founder and CEO Abhishek Ganguly said, “Anushka is partnering with Agilitas by investing capital in the company and building yoga-wear.”
Kohli had earlier picked up a minority stake in the company after ending his long-term deal with Puma. The transaction also included the transfer of his One8 brand to Agilitas. Ganguly, however, did not disclose further details about Sharma’s investment or the structure of the deal.
