Zendesk has announced a new USD 100 million, two-year commitment aimed at supporting startups building with AI, while also expanding its Zendesk for Startups program to include venture capital partners.
The program offers founders access to Zendesk’s products at no cost, along with resources and ecosystem support.
More than 50,000 startups globally have previously used Zendesk, including companies such as ElevenLabs and Canva. The program is designed to support startups up to Series B stage, with up to 250 employees. Eligible companies can receive up to two years of access to Zendesk’s AI suite, along with higher usage limits and additional seats compared to similar offerings.
The initiative also introduces a range of structured benefits. These include extended product access to preserve capital, AI-driven automation tools to reduce reliance on early hiring, onboarding support to accelerate deployment and dedicated assistance as companies grow. Startups will also gain access to a digital membership hub, community events and partner benefits from companies such as AWS, GitHub and Notion.
In addition, Zendesk is extending the program to venture capital firms for the first time. Through partnerships with firms including a16z, Techstars, LvlUp Ventures and 500 Global, investors will receive access to AI-focused sessions, portfolio reviews and engagement with Zendesk’s leadership.
The expanded program reflects a broader push to integrate AI capabilities into startup operations early, while also strengthening connections between founders, investors and technology platforms.
