Bajaj Auto Ltd. has entered the electric three-wheeler segment with the launch of its new ‘WEGO’ brand portfolio, introducing a multi-variant lineup across both passenger and cargo categories. The range includes passenger models under the P50, P70, and P90 series, along with cargo variants in the C90 series, catering to diverse mobility needs.
According to the company, the WEGO portfolio offers a maximum certified range of up to 296 km, depending on the model. Prices start at ₹3.11 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and go up to ₹4.48 lakh for higher-end variants. All models come with a five-year warranty and access to a nationwide sales and service network of over 1,500 touchpoints.
In the passenger segment, the P50 series (P5009, P5012) is designed for intra-city and contract carriage operations, offering ranges of 213 km and 272 km. The P70 series (P7009, P7012) targets shared mobility applications with ranges of 182 km and 259 km. Meanwhile, the higher-capacity P90 series (P9018) is built for longer-distance and semi-urban usage, delivering a maximum range of 296 km.
For cargo applications, the C9009 and C9012 variants are tailored for last-mile delivery, offering ranges of 149 km and 207 km, respectively.
The vehicles are equipped with an electric drivetrain featuring a two-speed automatic transmission, regenerative braking, and an advanced battery management system. Additional features include Bluetooth connectivity, a digital LCD display, hill hold, and climb mode.
The company stated that the new platform has been developed to address mobility requirements across urban, semi-urban, and rural markets, supporting both passenger transport and cargo movement efficiently.
