Tsuyo Manufacturing Private Limited has been selected as one of 15 Indian deeptech startups to join the CII CIES Startup Delegation to Japan 2026, the company announced. The delegation aims to strengthen collaboration between Indian startups and Japan’s growing EV ecosystem.
As part of the initiative, Tsuyo will explore co-development opportunities with Japanese companies, global OEM partnerships, and expansion into Asian markets. The company will also participate in SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026, which brings together global innovators in advanced technologies.
Founder and CEO Vijay Kumar said the selection is a significant milestone for India’s deeptech ecosystem and supports the vision of positioning India as a global EV technology hub.
Tsuyo recently received Single Window Clearance from the Government of Karnataka for its proposed EV powertrain manufacturing and validation campus in the Dharwad-Hubli region.
The company manufactures electric motors, controllers, and integrated powertrain systems, has sold over 200,000 motors, and works with more than 50 OEMs across the EV industry.
The selection highlights India’s growing presence in global EV innovation and strengthens opportunities for international collaboration in advanced mobility technologies.
