BikeWo GreenTech Limited is exploring strategic opportunities to expand into warehousing and integrated logistics infrastructure as part of its broader mobility and logistics strategy. The company aims to integrate its electric mobility, fleet leasing and logistics operations with warehousing to build a comprehensive mobility and logistics ecosystem.
As part of the initiative, BikeWo will evaluate warehousing opportunities and different operating models across key logistics markets in India. The proposed infrastructure could serve sectors such as e-commerce, automotive, electric mobility, FMCG, retail and enterprise logistics, among other high-growth supply chains.
BikeWo is looking beyond traditional warehousing focused only on storage. The company plans to evaluate technology-enabled facilities incorporating automation, digital warehouse management systems and data intelligence. These facilities could progressively be integrated with BikeWo’s fleet and logistics capabilities.
Given its existing focus on electric mobility, BikeWo will also explore integrating warehousing with EV fleets, charging infrastructure and first-mile and last-mile transportation. The objective is to improve the efficiency of goods movement and enhance the utilisation of logistics assets.
For the expansion, the company is evaluating a combination of owned, leased, operated, build-to-suit and partnership-led models. The approach will focus on capital efficiency, scalability and the ability to expand operations as opportunities develop.
Commenting on the development, Hiten Pal Saklani, CEO of BikeWo Green Tech Limited, said that warehousing is a natural extension of the logistics ecosystem being developed by the company. He added that BikeWo’s objective is not merely to add physical infrastructure, but to integrate warehousing with technology, electric mobility and fleet operations to create a more connected logistics platform.
BikeWo will initially focus its warehousing evaluation on Hyderabad. The company plans to progressively assess opportunities in other key logistics markets across India. It has also invited warehouse owners, developers, 3PL operators, enterprise customers, technology providers and strategic partners to explore potential collaboration opportunities.
The proposed warehousing expansion is currently at an exploratory stage. BikeWo will evaluate opportunities based on commercial viability, strategic fit and applicable approvals. Further disclosures will be made as required under applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
