BMW Group India has achieved a major milestone by delivering over 5,000 electric vehicles across the country. The figure includes both two-wheelers and four-wheelers under its three brands – BMW, BMW Motorrad, and MINI. The company’s EV line-up features models such as the BMW i7, iX, i5, i4, iX1 Long Wheelbase, MINI Countryman E, and BMW CE 04 and CE 02 electric scooters.
Marking this achievement, BMW Group has also inaugurated India’s first 4,000 km high-power charging corridor, stretching from Jammu to Madurai. The corridor passes through key cities including Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Hubbali, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Madurai. Charging stations have been set up every 300 km, offering power capacities from 120 kW to 720 kW. Developed in collaboration with Statiq and Zeon, the network is open to all EV brands. Customers will also benefit from live charger status, nearby amenities, and seamless payment integration through in-car and in-app digital services.

In H1 2025 (Jan–Jun), BMW and MINI recorded sales of 1,322 EVs, reflecting an impressive 234% YoY growth, with EVs now contributing 18% of BMW Group India’s total sales. The BMW iX1 LWB SUV emerged as the group’s best-selling model, followed by the flagship BMW i7 sedan.
